Our Story
As a husband, father, and as a community-minded individual, I feel called to help others. Specifically, I want to help single parents with basic repairs and tasks around their homes that may be outside of their abilities or skill sets. And I’m not doing this alone.
Who Are We?
My name is Nick Funk. I’m a local business leader and board member of a local not-for-profit. I’m also a husband and a father. I want to show my son and daughter what it means to help other people and make a real difference in our community. I’m also excited about the fact that while we work together helping others, my kids will be gaining important practical life skills.
How We Can Help
I have experience with plumbing, electrical, and construction, so if there’s a basic “handyman” task that’s out of your comfort zone, we’ll do our best to help. Don’t have money available to pay for the supplies needed? We have financial resources available to us on a case-by-case basis, so please reach out.
Territory
Until other like-minded people step up, we will only be serving individuals here within Steinbach, Manitoba.
Future Plans
As more people hear about us and join us, we look forward to expanding our services to seniors and to our neighbouring communities.
